“Unlock Divine Blessings of Al-Baqarah Verses 2:46-47”

الَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُمْ مُلَاقُو رَبِّهِمْ وَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ {46}

Who know that they shall meet their Lord and that they shall return to Him. 2:46

And they assume that they will return to Him, believing that their faith and humility will lead them to the miraculous bounties and rewards of Allah. However, they remain unaware that their certainty is not guaranteed, as they are not safe from changes in their condition.

The Holy Prophet’s Wisdom on the Believer’s End

The Holy Prophet (S) said: A believer is always fearful regarding his end and never feels certain of earning his Lord’s pleasure until his last breath. Until the angel of death appears to collect his soul, he remains in a state of anxiety. At that final moment, his fear dissipates, and he becomes certain of receiving his Lord’s pleasure. This is because the believer experiences extreme sorrow, anxiety, and restlessness due to severe illness, thoughts of losing wealth and property, separation from loved ones, and unfulfilled ambitions.

The Angel of Death’s Assurance

Witnessing this turmoil, the angel of death asks: What makes you so restless? The believer replies: Unfulfilled wishes. The angel then questions: Can a wise person lament the loss of a fake coin when, in exchange, they are to receive wealth a million times greater than anything in the world? The believer responds: Of course, no.

A Glimpse of Paradise

The angel instructs him to look up. When the believer gazes upward, he sees palaces and high ranks in Paradise, beyond any aspirations he could imagine. The angel reassures him: These are your palaces, your bounties, and your beloved ones. All your dear children, if virtuous and righteous, will be with you in this Paradise.

The believer is asked whether they feel happiness after witnessing the bounties of Paradise. They respond with a heartfelt affirmation, saying, “By Allah, I am truly pleased and satisfied.”

The angel then instructs the believer to look up. To their amazement, they see the figures of Muhammad and his household in the heights of heaven. The angel explains that these figures are their leaders and companions in Paradise. The angel asks again if the believer feels content despite being separated from loved ones in this life. The believer responds joyfully, “By Allah, I am extremely happy.” This sentiment is echoed in the words of Allah in His Book, emphasizing the profound joy that comes from faith and the promise of companionship in the hereafter.

(As for) those who say: Our Lord is Allah, then continue in the right way, the angels descend upon them, saying: Fear not, nor be grieved, and receive good news of the garden, which you were promised. Surah Fussilat 41:30

O children of Israel! call to mind My favor, which I bestowed on you and that I made you excel the nations. Surah Baqarah 2:47

Allah calls upon the sons of Yaqoob to reflect on the immense blessings He has bestowed upon them.

He sent Musa (a.s.) and Harun (a.s.) as divine messengers, guiding them towards righteousness.

A prophecy was revealed about the coming of Hazrat Muhammad saww, the rightful successor ship of Mola Ali, and the Imams from his noble lineage.

Vows were taken, promising that those who uphold their commitments will be rewarded with the eternal bliss of Paradise and the boundless mercy of Allah.

Their ancestors were granted unparalleled superiority in both spiritual and material realms:

Spiritual Excellence: They embraced the love of Muhammad, Ali, and their pure progeny (a.s.), recognizing their rightful leadership (Wilayat).

Worldly Abundance: Allah enveloped them in divine protection, showered them with Manna and Salwa, provided sweet water from rocks, parted the sea for their escape, and vanquished Firon and his followers.

Allah asserts that, due to the esteemed ranks of Muhammad and Aale Muhammad (a.s.), it is only just that He grants current generations similar excellence, as long as they remain steadfast in their promises.

This powerful message emphasizes the importance of faith, commitment, and the blessings that come from honoring divine promises.
